About Cleveland & Woodley Park Village

Cleveland & Woodley Park Village is a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting seniors in Washington D.C.’s Cleveland Park and Woodley Park neighborhoods. Inspired by the national Village movement, this community-driven initiative began in 2013 and has grown to include over 125 members and 150 volunteers. The Village fosters connections among residents, helping seniors maintain their independence while reducing feelings of isolation.

Impact of Our Services

Every year, dedicated volunteers provide more than 1,500 service visits, assisting members with essential tasks such as transportation to appointments, help with technology, and companionship. These services not only enhance the quality of life for seniors but also strengthen community bonds.
