Our Story

Clean Grid Alliance addresses one of the most pressing issues of our time by advocating for renewable energy policy and building the foundational infrastructure for a Midwest run on clean energy. Over the past 20 years, this organization has united nonprofit and for-profit interests to drive real action and progress toward a renewable energy future.

Impact

In 2021, Minnesota's wind, solar, and energy storage plants saved 9 billion gallons of water and avoided 14.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide, equivalent to taking 3.1 million cars off the road, powering nearly 2 million homes.
