This movement, known as ClassCrits, emerged from a commitment to 'outsider' jurisprudence, which places the inequalities of race, class, gender, and sexuality at the forefront of legal discourse. By critiquing mainstream legal and economic perspectives, ClassCrits aims to highlight the detrimental effects of economic power on the lives of poor and working-class individuals.
