Our Story
Seventeen years ago, a group of scholar-activists initiated critical conversations about law and the escalating economic inequality affecting communities both nationally and globally. This movement, known as ClassCrits, emerged from a commitment to 'outsider' jurisprudence, which places the inequalities of race, class, gender, and sexuality at the forefront of legal discourse. By critiquing mainstream legal and economic perspectives, ClassCrits aims to highlight the detrimental effects of economic power on the lives of poor and working-class individuals.
Impact
ClassCrits focuses on addressing systemic issues of economic inequality, advocating for marginalized communities through rigorous legal and economic analysis.
