Founded in 1986, the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Foundation is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for students and teachers in Clarksville, Tennessee. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization works tirelessly to secure and distribute contributions from individuals, corporations, and community members who are passionate about supporting local education. With a 15-member board of directors, the Foundation collaborates closely with the school system to align its goals with the needs of students, ensuring that every child has access to the resources necessary for success.

Making a Lasting Impact

In the past year alone, the Foundation has made significant strides in supporting educational initiatives. Over 1,700 volunteer hours were logged, translating to a savings of $41,260 in operating costs. Thirty educators received Great Idea and Big Idea Grants to implement innovative classroom projects, while 306 high-achieving students were honored at the Annual Academic Awards Banquet. Additionally, 66 outstanding teachers were recognized for their excellence during the Teacher of the Year Red Carpet Awards.
