Our Story

Clark Park Coalition was established in 1991 by dedicated citizens in response to the closure of Clark Park by the Detroit Recreation Department. This nonprofit organization has successfully partnered with the city to revitalize the park, transforming it into a vital community hub.

Today, Clark Park serves over 1,200 youth annually, providing essential recreational and educational programs that foster youth development and engagement.
