About Clarity Child Guidance Center

Clarity Child Guidance Center has a rich history dating back to 1886, when a group of compassionate women established an orphanage to support children in need. Over the years, the organization evolved to address the mental health challenges faced by children, leading to the formation of the Southwest Mental Health Center and the Child Guidance Center of San Antonio. In 2010, these two entities merged to create Clarity Child Guidance Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health treatment for children and adolescents.

As the only nonprofit children’s mental health treatment facility in South Texas, Clarity Child Guidance Center is committed to equipping children with the skills and tools they need to thrive. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals works collaboratively with families to ensure that every child receives the care they deserve.
