Our Story
In 1994, the City of Claremont and community volunteers identified a critical need for after-school academic support for struggling elementary students. This led to the formation of Claremont After-School Programs, known as CLASP, which merged two tutoring initiatives in 2005. CLASP is the only nonprofit, nonsectarian organization in Claremont dedicated to offering after-school homework help and enrichment activities to students in the Claremont Unified School District. Each year, approximately 70 students receive individualized assistance, ensuring that all children, regardless of their financial situation, have access to essential educational resources.
