About Clagett Sailing
Founded in 2003 by Judy and Stephanie McLennan, Clagett Sailing honors the legacy of Tom Clagett, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. This Rhode Island-based nonprofit is dedicated to providing sailors with disabilities the opportunity to enhance their skills and achieve personal goals through world-class coaching and competitive sailing.
Impact of Clagett Sailing
Over the past 21 years, Clagett Sailing has hosted more than 275 participants and engaged 235 volunteers, awarding $56,415 in scholarships. The organization has significantly improved the quality of life for its participants, empowering them to apply sailing skills to everyday challenges.
