Our Story

In 2003, a small group of partners began exploring collaborative approaches to community change. Through annual "Raising the Canopy" events, they engaged over 800 individuals, recognizing the need for effective partnerships among community groups, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies. This exploration led to the formation of Civic Canopy in 2008, a nonprofit dedicated to improving civic health through collaboration.
