Our Story

In 2004, Ciudad Nueva began its journey by walking alongside just 10 third graders in the Rio Grande Historic District. Eighteen years later, the organization has built long-term relationships with hundreds of children and their families through various programs including after-school activities, mentoring, summer camps, and community dinners.

Impact

Over the years, Ciudad Nueva has seen remarkable transformations. Students excel academically, earning scholarships, while youth deepen their faith and mentor younger peers. Parents are learning English and acquiring work skills, and residents unite to advocate for neighborhood improvements.
