CityHeart

Our Story

CityHeart began as a ministry of Hospitality, offering a cup of hot coffee and a cold drink of water to visitors at Christ Episcopal Church in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Over the years, it has evolved to address the complex needs of the community, becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2015.

Impact

Throughout the pandemic, CityHeart has maintained critical services for the most vulnerable, earning accreditation from the Better Business Bureau – Wise Giving Alliance, meeting 20 standards of nonprofit accountability.
