City Rescue Mission of Lansing Michigan
EIN: 38-1626400 · Lansing, MI
Our Story
Founded in 1911 by Thomas and Emily Dolton, the City Rescue Mission of Lansing began as a humble soup kitchen during an economic depression. Over the years, it has evolved to offer vital services, including shelters for men, women, and children, and a drop-in center for those experiencing homelessness. The mission is dedicated to meeting physical needs while providing spiritual hope through Jesus Christ.
Impact
Every day, the City Rescue Mission serves 365 meals and shelters 244 individuals each night, positively impacting the lives of over 2,352 people annually in the Lansing community.
