City on a Hill Ministries

Our Story

The journey of City on a Hill Ministries began with a small group of women who prayed for solutions to human needs during a challenging economic period. As community needs grew, these women’s prayers led to the establishment of a ministry center in a former hospital building. Since opening on May 31, 2006, with just 12 ministries, City on a Hill has expanded to over 40 ministries, serving thousands in West Michigan and beyond.

Impact

City on a Hill Ministries provides essential services such as a Health Clinic for uninsured individuals, a Café that fosters community connections, and mentoring programs for those in crisis. The organization also offers a retreat space for ministry leaders, ensuring holistic support for both individuals and organizations.
