Our Story

Founded in 1911, the Erie City Mission emerged from a collective effort by community leaders to combat hunger, homelessness, and addiction. With a legacy linked to evangelist Billy Sunday, the Mission has evolved over the years, relocating to better serve the growing needs of the Erie community. In 1978, it established a permanent home, continuing its vital work for over a century.
