Our Story
Founded in August 2006, Jessie's Place emerged from the grassroots efforts of local child advocates dedicated to serving abused, neglected, and traumatized children in Citrus County. The center opened its doors in 2008 in memory of Jessica Lunsford.
Impact
In 2016 alone, more than 400 children received investigative services at Jessie's Place, saving Citrus County communities approximately $400,000.
