Our Story
The Citizen Science Lab is Pittsburgh’s first community life sciences laboratory, founded by a black research biologist. It aims to create science pipelines for diverse and marginalized communities through hands-on STEM experiences.
Impact
By providing hands-on exposure to life sciences, medical science, robotics, and biotechnology education, the lab significantly increases interest in STEM among black students and other underrepresented groups in Pittsburgh.
