Founded in 1982 by Archbishop Joseph Bernadin and community leaders, Catholic Inner-city Schools Education (CISE) aims to provide Catholic school opportunities for families facing economic challenges. With a commitment to faith-based education, CISE supports nearly 2,300 students across 10 elementary schools and an additional 406 students in a Catholic high school.

CISE has positively impacted over 2,600 students in Cincinnati’s most underserved neighborhoods, achieving an impressive 81% graduation rate. Over 70% of grade school students transition to Catholic high schools, ensuring a brighter future.
