In the heart of Memphis, Playhouse on the Square, originally known as the Circuit Players, has been a beacon of theatre since 1969. Founded by Jackie Nichols, this venue serves as a community hub where every performance invites audiences to feel, connect, and celebrate the transformative power of live theatre.

Impact of Our Programs

This season, Circuit Playhouse, Inc. is set to bring the magic of theatre to life with an ambitious lineup of shows and educational programs. With 5 shows at Playhouse on the Square, 7 shows at The Circuit Playhouse, and 2 shows at TheatreWorks, the organization aims to reach 50,000 individuals. Additionally, 11 education and outreach programs will engage nearly 30,000 children, teens, and adults, fostering a love for the arts in the community.
