Our Story
Founded in November 1965 by Isabeth Bakke Hardy, The Circle School began as The New Age School, a small, private nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the imaginations of young children. Over the years, it has evolved, expanding its reach to include a mobile classroom for older students in the 1970s. Renamed in 1990, The Circle School has faced challenges, including financial difficulties in 1992, but a dedicated group of parents formed The Circle School Family Co-op to ensure its survival. Today, it serves over 90 students, focusing on cultivating the whole child to become an impactful citizen of the earth.
