Cinderella’s Closet was founded by Erin Peterson in 2006 after a heartfelt encounter with a young girl in foster care who could not afford her dream dress. This act of kindness sparked the creation of Cinderella's Closet, dedicated to providing formal wear to underprivileged girls. Today, Cinderella’s Closet OC, led by Erin Carlton and Tasha Gabal, continues this mission in Orange County, uplifting young ladies and ensuring they can attend prom.
In 2024 alone, Cinderella’s Closet has served over 500 princesses, granting them the chance to attend prom without the financial burden of formal wear.
