The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation was established in 2006 by dedicated physicians who recognized the urgent need for improved eye care access in their community. This nonprofit organization was created to address the eye care needs of vulnerable and underserved populations through free charitable eye clinics and community outreach services.
CEIF has provided free vision screenings and eye health education to over 11,000 uninsured individuals, diagnosed serious eye diseases in over 1,000 adults, and distributed free prescription glasses to over 8,000 adults. These efforts have significantly improved vision health in the Tri-State area.
