The Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation, known as 3CDC, was established in July 2003 to revitalize the urban core of Cincinnati, focusing on the Central Business District and Over-the-Rhine. Formed through a collaboration of city officials and corporate leaders, 3CDC aims to create diverse, mixed-income neighborhoods while preserving the city's historic structures.
3CDC has successfully completed nearly 100 development projects, adding both market-rate and affordable housing. With 660 apartments developed in Over-the-Rhine, 70% of which are affordable units, the organization also hosts over 1,500 free events annually, enhancing the vibrancy of downtown Cincinnati.
