Community Housing of Wyandotte County (CHWC) was established in 1998 to tackle the pressing housing needs in Kansas City, Kansas. Originally known as Catholic Housing of Wyandotte County, the organization evolved into CHWC in 2002 and became a proud member of NeighborWorks America. With a focus on building, renovating, and repairing homes, CHWC promotes homeownership and engages the community through various initiatives.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, CHWC has successfully built, renovated, or repaired over 500 homes, educated thousands of families, and generated over $90 million in capital investment in Wyandotte County neighborhoods. The organization has significantly improved community engagement and quality of life through its various programs and initiatives.
