Our Story

Church of Christ Care Community began in December 1941, when a dedicated group of Christians recognized the urgent need for a home for the elderly. Starting with a modest house in Ferndale, Michigan, the organization has grown significantly over the decades. Initially housing six local widows, it has expanded to offer a comprehensive range of services including assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. The Northwest Church of Christ in Detroit took on oversight in 1948, ensuring that quality care remains at the heart of our mission.
