Founded in 1886 at the request of Father M. P. McSourley, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word established a hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Hotel Dieu opened its doors in 1898, providing care for 24 patients. Over the years, the hospital evolved to meet the healthcare needs of the Southeast Texas community, culminating in the integration of St. Elizabeth Hospital into CHRISTUS Health in 1999.
Every dollar raised through events like Miracle Treat Day and the Kids Classic Golf Tournament is donated to the Children’s Miracle Network, ensuring that local children receive the best possible medical care.
