Our Story
On Thanksgiving Eve 1974, a dedicated Hudson Falls School Teacher initiated a 50-mile walk to raise funds for underprivileged children. This humble effort, though it raised a modest amount, highlighted the plight of children living in poverty within the community. Over the years, this initiative has evolved into Operation Santa Claus, significantly expanding its reach and impact.
Impact
In 2018 alone, Operation Santa Claus raised over $210,000, providing essential food and new clothing to children in need during the Christmas season.
