Our Story

In 2002, founder Mike Burright recognized a local family's struggle to provide a joyful Christmas for their two small children. With the help of family and friends, he gathered donations of toys, clothing, and household essentials. Dressed as Santa, Mike delivered the gifts, igniting the spirit of giving that led to the creation of the Christmas Family Adoption Foundation. Since then, CFAF has grown exponentially, helping thousands of families in the Portland, Salem, and Vancouver areas experience the joy of the holiday season.
