Our Story
Founded in 1994 by Youth Pastors Joe Brown and Chuck Adkins, the Christian Youth Film Society is dedicated to helping young people develop their communication, creativity, and collaboration skills through the art of filmmaking. What began as a simple initiative with recycled trophies has transformed into a competitive festival featuring cash prizes and real trophies. The organization has expanded its offerings to include workshops and seminars led by industry professionals, all while upholding wholesome values and spiritual integrity. In 2013, it became a non-profit to better align with its mission and vision, continuing to grow through online festivals and global outreach.
