Christian Outreach in Action (COA) is a non-denominational nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless and impoverished individuals in Long Beach and Greater Los Angeles since 1981. Founded by Jack Jensen, who overcame his own struggles with addiction, COA has become a beacon of hope, providing essential services like food, hygiene kits, and legal aid to those in need.

Impact of COA

COA has provided healthy, nutritious food to over 8,500 individuals and families in the Long Beach area. With a five-day-a-week food bank and daily prepared meals, COA addresses the rising food insecurity exacerbated by the pandemic, helping to eliminate food insecurities and support vulnerable populations.
