Our Story

Founded in 1908 by Pastor Ernst J. Christoffel, Christian Blind Mission International Inc began its journey in Turkey, establishing a home for blind and disabled children. Over the years, the organization has expanded its mission to support all persons with disabilities, focusing on improving their quality of life in the poorest countries.

Impact

In 2023, CBM reached approximately 62.2 million people, with 10.4 million receiving comprehensive assistance through medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, and emergency aid. This significant increase demonstrates the organization's effectiveness in addressing the needs of persons with disabilities globally.
