Our Story
The Christ Child Society of Milwaukee is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to serving children in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1948. Founded as part of a national movement by Mary Virginia Merrick, the society began by providing layettes for needy infants and has since expanded its mission to nurture youth in the community.
Impact on the Community
Each year, the Christ Child Society serves thousands of children through essential programs. In the 2023-2024 fiscal year, approximately 1,700 layettes and over 900 My Stuff Bags were distributed, showcasing the organization's significant impact on local families in crisis.
