About the Chris Howell Foundation

The Chris Howell Foundation was established by author and broadcast personality Chris Howell, who recognized the urgent need to inspire and empower individuals facing adversity. After a poignant interview with a woman living with HIV in 2016, Howell was motivated to address the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Dallas County, a cause close to his heart after losing his brother to AIDS complications in 2006. Today, the foundation raises awareness and provides essential education and prevention programs to thousands in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Impact in the Community

Through years of dedicated service, the Chris Howell Foundation has significantly impacted the Dallas-Fort Worth community, earning recognition from the Texas State Senate and the Dallas Mayor, who proclaimed 'Know Your Status Day' on February 7, 2017. The foundation has facilitated HIV/AIDS testing for thousands, helping to combat stigma and promote health awareness.
