Founded by Geraldine Gilliland in 2011, Chiquita's Friends is dedicated to rescuing and caring for neglected and abused dogs, particularly from the streets of Tijuana, Mexico. After personal tragedies, Geraldine turned her passion for animal welfare into a nonprofit organization that provides sanctuary, medical care, and adoption opportunities for these vulnerable animals.
