It quickly grew from six teams to over 500 teams across the nation by 1952, culminating in the first Pony League World Series. Under the leadership of Lew Hays, the league expanded and became a national organization, fostering a love for baseball among youth.
Today, Pony Baseball is the fastest-growing youth baseball organization globally, with a significant presence in the San Bernardino area.
