Our Story

Founded in 1947 in a Baltimore church, Chimes began as a special education day school for five students with intellectual developmental disabilities. Over the decades, Chimes has evolved into the Chimes Family of Services, expanding its reach and services to support over 20,000 individuals across six U.S. states and Israel. The organization now offers a comprehensive range of services, including residential support, vocational programs, and behavioral health services.
