Founded in 1932 by Miss Sara Spencer, the Children’s Theatre of Charleston has been a beacon of creativity and inspiration for young people in Charleston, West Virginia. Initially a small theatre group emerging from a drama class, it has grown into a cherished institution recognized as the Official West Virginia Children’s Theatre. Over the decades, thousands of children and adults have participated in productions that foster creativity and confidence.
