EIN: 34-0833506 · Howland, OH

Outpatient Pediatric Therapy

Our Story

In the 1950s, the citizens of Trumbull County recognized the urgent need for specialized services for children with special needs. Area Rotary Clubs united to address this growing concern, leading to the establishment of the Halsey W. Taylor Rehabilitation Center in 1957. Initially located in a small home in Warren, Ohio, the center quickly became a vital resource for families. As demand increased, a larger facility was found in Howland in 1969, where the center remains today. Renamed the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in 1971, it has continually expanded its services, including the opening of the Kids Garden Program in 2010 to meet the needs of childcare and preschool programs.
