Since 1944, the Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento has been a beacon of hope for youth in crisis. Founded through the collaborative efforts of the Junior League of Sacramento and the Rotary Club of Sacramento, this organization has dedicated itself to meeting the unique needs of each child. Located on six acres of land in Sacramento, the Home offers a continuum of care that includes an on-site preschool for the youngest survivors of family trauma, outpatient mental health care for children facing anxiety and depression, and residential treatment for those who have suffered abuse and neglect.
