San Diego Animal Sanctuary and Farm
EIN: 20-4859019 · Alpine, CA
Our Story
Inspired by the film "We Bought a Zoo," Agnes Barrelet founded the San Diego Animal Sanctuary and Farm™ nearly a decade ago. Nestled in the picturesque hills of Alpine, this sanctuary is a haven for over 200 rescued animals, offering families a unique opportunity to connect with nature and wildlife. The vision was to create a beautiful space where animals could live freely and families could create lasting memories.
Impact
In 2023, the sanctuary's educational programs reached nearly 3,000 students, partnering with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA to foster a love for animals and nature.
Why Donate?
The sanctuary relies on generous donations to provide the best care for its animals. With daily operational costs of $1,700, every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that these animals receive the love and care they deserve.
