Our Story
Founded in 1966 by dedicated volunteers, the Children’s Medical Fund of New York (CMFNY) emerged from a community's urgent need for a children’s hospital in the New York metropolitan area. After 17 years of relentless effort, Schneider Children’s Hospital opened its doors in 1983, with CMFNY contributing over $90 million to support children and their families.
