Our Story

The Children’s Literacy Center, founded in 1991 in Colorado Springs, has transformed from a Junior League project into a vital statewide initiative. With 15 locations across Colorado, CLC serves over 600 children annually, providing essential literacy support.

With a remarkable 95 percent success rate, CLC ensures that children develop a strong reading foundation, crucial for their future success. Each child gains the confidence needed to thrive academically and socially.
