Our Story

Founded in 1977, the Children's Law Center of Massachusetts, Inc. (CLCM) emerged from a commitment to ensure that children, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, receive due process. As the first organization in Massachusetts to focus exclusively on providing legal services to indigent children and youth, CLCM has expanded its mission over the years. Initially dedicated to assisting children in state facilities, the organization now offers comprehensive legal support in education, child welfare, immigration, and juvenile justice.
