Our Story

The story of Children’s Hope Alliance is one of triumph and adaptability. Founded in 1883, this organization has transformed from an orphanage into a comprehensive service provider for children and families in North Carolina. Today, it serves over 7,000 children through in-home and community-based care, including foster care, adoption, and therapeutic services.

Impact

Last year, 80% of every dollar donated went directly to programs that support children and families. With 1,744 children and families served, 925 children are on their healing journey after receiving outpatient therapeutic services.

Fees for services only cover 66% of the costs, making private contributions essential. Donations are crucial for funding the mission and providing vital support to vulnerable children and families in North Carolina.
