Our Story

Children’s Hope Alliance has a rich history dating back to 1883, originally founded as the Presbyterian Orphans Home. Over the years, it has transformed to meet the evolving needs of over 7,000 children in North Carolina, focusing on those who have suffered abuse and neglect. The organization now offers a comprehensive range of services, including foster care, adoption, and therapeutic support.

Impact

Last year, 80% of every dollar donated went directly to programs that support children and families. The organization served 1,744 children and families, with 925 children receiving outpatient therapeutic services, and 2,563 hours worked by 704 volunteers across 62 counties in North Carolina.
