Children’s Home Network
EIN: 59-0696284 · Tampa, FL
Our Story
Children’s Home Network has a rich history that began in 1887 when Miss Carrie Hammerly arrived in Tampa, Florida. Recognizing the need for care, she began tending to orphaned and abandoned children in 1892. This compassionate act laid the foundation for an organization that now serves nearly 7,000 children and families each year. Over the years, the organization has evolved, moving to a new 88-acre property in 1965, where it continues to provide essential services through its Kids Village program.
Our Impact
Children’s Home Network is dedicated to unlocking the potential of at-risk children and families. Through residential treatment and community counseling, the organization provides a safe haven for healing and growth. The Kids Village program offers a nurturing environment for children aged 5-17, helping them recover from trauma and build a brighter future.
