Our Story

Brightpoint, formerly known as Children's Home & Aid Society of Illinois, is dedicated to supporting children and families in need. With a focus on child welfare, mental health, and family support, Brightpoint aims to create an equitable world where all children and families thrive in strong communities. Operating across 67 counties in Illinois, the organization engages with nearly 30,000 children, youth, and families each year.

Impact

In the past year, Brightpoint has successfully kept 2,503 children with their families, preventing them from entering foster care. Additionally, 2,327 youth participated in programs designed to reduce risk factors and ensure their success at home, in school, and in their communities.
