Our Story

Out of the ashes of an old city incinerator was born a dream. The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center, formerly known as the Hawaii Children's Museum, began with the passion of volunteers who recognized the need for a permanent home for families and schoolchildren. This vibrant center provides an engaging environment where children can explore and understand the world around them.
