The Children’s Dental Health Clinic, founded in 1932 by Dr. Robert E. Anderson, began as a mobile unit addressing the alarming rates of dental disease among school children. Today, it has transformed into a comprehensive dental home, dedicated to serving underserved and medically compromised children and young adults in the greater Long Beach and South Bay communities.

Each year, the clinic provides quality oral health services to approximately 5,500 patients, including general and pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and specialized care for those with complex medical needs.
