About Children’s Chorus of Maryland

Founded in 1976 by the esteemed music educator Betty Bertaux, Children’s Chorus of Maryland and School of Music (CCM) has grown from a small group of six children into one of the most respected programs for vocal literacy and choral music education in the United States. With a commitment to nurturing skilled and innovative young citizens, CCM offers rigorous music training and performance opportunities for children aged 4 to 17.

Impact of CCM

CCM has positively influenced the musical education of thousands of children, helping them develop into capable musicians and engaged community members. The organization has performed at prestigious venues, including the White House and Carnegie Hall, and has collaborated with various local arts organizations.
