Founded in 2001 by Artistic Director Susan Tevis, the Children’s Choir of Chico unites the purity of children’s voices with excellence in choral music education. With a commitment to artistic performance, the choir has expanded from a single group to five choirs, including opportunities for early childhood and adult women. No prior experience is necessary for participation, except for the Bel Canto choir.
Serving children from kindergarten through high school, along with a choir for women, the Children’s Choir of Chico actively engages in local performances across Northern California. These performances not only enrich the lives of the singers but also bring joy to seniors and community members.
